Bio
A native of New England, I spent most of my personal and professional life in international settings striving to innovate and improve the world around me. I graduated from Colby College with a BA in Anthropology with a minor in Education. I have held positions with the YMCA and in Study Abroad at World Learning. I completed my Master’s in Public Administration in International Management from the Monterey Institute of International Studies where I focused on facilitating a culture of innovation. This led to my current position as the Postgraduate Fellow in Organizational Development or more commonly known as “Innovation Accelerator”.
While always striving to create a culture of collaboration, possibility and a spirit of fun, I became a part of the Teaching and Learning Collaborative and the Digital Media Commons. I co-teach a course at the Institute about Digital Media for Social Change and managed the TEDxMonterey conference this past year. I love to facilitate communication, creativity and staff development.
Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities, cooking, traveling, reading and trying to stay in touch with friends from around the world.

The photo from the header of this website was painted by Maureen Fura. The painting is a poem she wrote for me and will always be near and dear to my heart. I am blessed to have such great friends!
